Objective: Perform point-of-care testing with 1,200 citizens to identify the status of clinical markers for type 2 diabetes.
Manitoba Métis Federation represents the community of approximately 140,000 Métis Citizens who reside across Manitoba. This timely PATHWAYS support will allow the Federation to support Métis citizens’ health through gathering critical clinical information from 1,200 community members who will scientifically represent a variety of age groups across the province. Vital clinical information will support caregivers in delivering better patient-centered, evidence-based care for Métis citizens.
